Hadrian Center Table

Hadrian has a robust shape in the form of an oblong cylinder that has been pinched inwards along two ends to reduce its bulk. The connection between the two main elements of the table is made explicit in both cases, with the base profile piercing the top through a central cutout. This design is also available as a larger dining table, known as the Hadriana.

The table has two basic elements: a highly polished marble top with a singular sculpted free-form support of the same material.

Center Table by Anish Kapoor

This masterpiece presents a central recess that represents the artist’s preoccupation with the sublime space of the void. Anish Kapoor is considered one of the most significant and influential artists working today. Perhaps most famous for public sculptures that are both adventures in form and feats of engineering, Kapoor maneuvers between vastly different scales and across numerous series of work. Immense PVC skins, stretched or deflated; concave or convex mirrors whose reflections attract and swallow the viewer; recesses carved in stone and pigmented so as to disappear: these voids and protrusions summon deep-felt metaphysical polarities of presence and absence, concealment and Revelation. Forms turn themselves inside out, womb-like, and materials are not painted but impregnated with color, as if to negate the idea of an outer surface, inviting the viewer to the inner reaches of the imagination.

Quad Table

Contemporary Italian Marble Center Table Designed by Zaha Hadid

This Italian marble table is formed from triangular quadrants of marble that join at the corners and curve down to form the legs. The inside corners have a rounded finish, creating gaps in the centre of each tabletop. The surface of the marble is carved to suggest ripples of fabric, created in honed Nero Assoluto a nearly matte black marble. Fanning out from a central void, the marble tabletop flows to its points of grounding in each corner, gathering into subtle folds as it progresses from the horizontal to vertical. Its fluid surfaces appear taut and pleated, denying the inherent lack of malleability of its structure.

Created in a Silver Wave Marble as a low center table, examples of the varieties of the stone used across the set create different effects, including plain matte black for a coffee table and marbled black and white patterns on a side table (as seen here). Propellor Center Table

This contemporary nautically themed table is created in white Carrara Marble with a steel base. A truly particular design and is available in many types of stone. A steel ring attaches to the glass with millimeters of distance from the marble points to protect the marble and integrity of the table.

Isa Center Table by Ora Ito

Marble Coffee Table in Marquina Nero Marble by Designer Ora Ito.

The Isa center table pays homage to the masterpiece table designed by Isamu Noguchi in 1947. Ora Ito revisits the original piece with his interpretation with drawing new and bolder lines. Both the shape of the table and the choice of marble give the piece its sculptural look.

The NAUI center table is a sculptural piece of furniture that pays tribute to its main material: lava stone and this work translates the artist’s continuous design experimentation into the exploration of modular structures.

The materiality of both lava stone and glass embody in this piece the seemingly opposing spirits of robustness and delicacy. Each module is carved manually from a monolithic piece of lava stone.

NAUI is the product of a challenge conforming an innovative circular structure with a single modular shape manifesting the dynamic understanding of Geometry.
